Favorite Episode Quotes:
Dean: So how does this work? I leave the cap off and you just genie your way out?
Bobby: This is about knocking us off the top of the food chain. This is about them Levis living here forever, 1 percenter-style, while we march our dopey, fat asses down to the shiny new death camps at every corner.
Dean: Perfect. It's in the middle of the Death Star.
Dick Roman: You’re kind of completing me right now, Charlie.
Dick Roman: Bruce Springsteen, Eli Manning, our own little Charlie, you know what they are? Irreplaceable. You’re more of a Tim Tebow, Joe Biden type. You got no spark in you.
Charlie: You know, I was having a really good week. I met someone, downloaded the new Robyn album, everything was coming up for me.
Charlie: These things are gonna eat everyone I know. What kind of douchebag stands by for that?
Sam: Who’s your favorite Harry Potter character? / Charlie: Hermione. / Sam: Did Hermione run when Sirius Black was in trouble? Or when Voldemort attacked Hogwarts? / Dean: Seriously? / Charlie: She kicked ass. She actually saves Harry in practically every book. And then she ends up with the wrong…
Dean (to Sam): You go, Dumbledork.
Dean: Pretend he has boobs.
Dean: Do you any tattoos? Give him a little sneak peek there. All tattoos are sexy. /  Charlie: Mine is Princess Leia in a slave bikini straddling a 20-sided die. I was drunk, it was Comic-Con.
Charlie: Your password is ‘w1nn1ng’ with two 1s? Fail.
Dean: This is awesome. You know what, new plan: From now on we just sit in the van and send in the 90-pound girl.
Dean: It doesn’t mean I gotta be happy sending in freaking Veronica Mars.
Charlie: So, good luck saving the world. Peace out, bitches.
Dean: She’s kind of like the little sister I never wanted.
Dean: If I had a free shot, I’d have bitch-slapped the hell out of Dick.

Caroline: Look at them, all bromance-y.
Caroline: I’ve watched The Bachelor! Fair is fair. It is Stefan’s turn.
Damon: Alaric. You remember him, right. About 6-foot-2, tried to hack you into pieces.
Stefan: Given our dangerous dance karma, you sure you’re up for this? / Elena: Getting out of bed is dangerous these days.
Caroline: What are you doing here? If Klaus sees you... / Tyler: What’s he gonna do? Draw you another picture?
Caroline: You do not need to be jealous of Klaus! / Tyler: I am jealous. But I’m also competitive.
Stefan: I blacked out for most of this decade. Remember?
Jamie: The ex boyfriend? / Bonnie: Yeah. / Jamie: That’s not awkward at all.
Damon: Sorry to spoil your 7 minutes in heaven. We have a problem.
Klaus: One dance. I won't bite.
Caroline: Why do you always have to prove you’re the alpha male? / Klaus: I don’t have to prove anything, love. I am the alpha male.
Klaus: You mark my words: Small town boy. Small town world. It won’t be enough for you.
Klaus: Work your magic, witch. Or I’ll start killing people you fancy.
Klaus: The Salvatores and their unshakable bond. I only wonder what will happen when Elena finally makes her choice. Will we see you shake? Just a little bit?
Damon: I offered to snap his neck, put him out of his misery. But he didn’t take me up on it. / Meredith: You seem surprised. / Damon: You just think a guy so used to dying wouldn’t want to drag it out.
Damon: Apparently, my choices have been a little controversial lately.
Alaric: Is this the part where you give me a dream with rainbows and rolling green hills? / Damon: I was drunk when I told you that. / Alaric: Yeah and I told you I’d use it against you. / Damon: Damn you.
Damon: Sorry I killed you. Twice.
Damon: Drink. / Alaric: Actually I’ve been thinking about cutting back.

Booth: Can we hurry this up, Bones? / Hodgins: Do you have another murder I don’t know about?
Brennan: We’re still missing the victim’s head, Booth! / Booth: Do you really need that?
Clark: Your attitude is very impressive. / Brennan: Of course it is.
Angela: I’m just saying that sometimes you can go a little overboard... / Hodgins: What’s that supposed to mean? / Angela: The motion sensors in our bedroom that control the blinds? When we have sex they open and close and open and close...
Angela: Lucky you knew about the lifts, Clark! / Clark: Oh don’t get snotty, Ms. Montenegro. I could tell this whole lab about your blinds. Open, close! Open, close!
Brennan: There’s a wooded area behind the house. I thought we could search for carrion and rearticulate their skeletons. You know, a family project! / Booth: What do you do with them? / Brennan: Well, we could mount them and then hang them up as decoration.
Booth: I really don’t think playing with dead animals is gonna make things all that better. / Brennan: If you think breadsticks are enough... / Booth: Garlic ones? Yeah!
Karl: I got this belt for winning the Trout Classic. What did you get yours for? / Booth: To hold my pants up.
Booth: For the record, I didn’t need this talk. I just wanted you to feel useful.

Warner Bros. Television Out Of The Box Exhibit

Today was definitely $8 well spent - and I wore a Michigan State shirt, so I got the student price. Today I checked out the new Warner Bros. exhibit at the Paley Center for Media as part of their "Television Out Of The Box" program.  This interactive multimedia museum exhibit celebrates almost 60 years of iconic programming with props, costumes, original animation art, patent filings, and more from over sixty series.

I was able to get some great pictures of the exhibits they have there, and below you will find a few of the ones from my favorite shows! Check out the photos below. And don't wait too long, because the exhibit only lasts until 2015, and they will be routinely rotating in new items from the Warner Bros.' collection. That means multiple trips for us TV geeks!

Rebekah: You’d rather dress in tacky colors with bad hair than be a classy flapper from the Jazz Age? Honestly, I don’t see what my brother sees in you. / Caroline: Maybe he sees a challenge. Well, you see, unlike some other people, I don’t sleep with everyone I come in eye-contact with.
Damon: Next time we compel him, remind me to make him better at baseball.
Jeremy: So you traveled across the country to get me to talk to a dead vampire? / Damon: Dead vampire’s redundant, but yes.
Damon: What good is you dying and coming back to life if you can’t talk to a ghost when I need you to?
Damon: Didn’t you find it weird that you’d find a friend so fast? Have you met you?
Damon: All right, Whoopi? What do you need? Candle? Incense? Pottery wheel?
Alaric: Here I am, the failed hunter-slash-drinking buddy of vampires!
Stefan: You pretty much laid there dead for half of the night. But on the plus side, I did almost finish reading Moby Dick.
Elena: How do you know her? / Damon: You know... / Elena: Of course. / Damon: What? I said creepy, not ugly.
Kol: She was a bit of an Original groupie.
Klaus: I heard about your brother’s little mission to Denver. He failed. Not that that’s news anymore.

Another double issue of my TV Guide, so that means double issue for "What to Watch." And this issue of TV Guide was a good one since it was the "Fan Favorites" issue voted by, duh, the fans. And guess what. Supernatural won for "Favorite Horror Series" :) It was so nice of The CW to advertise the win too! Come on. It's gotta be renewed for another season now, right!?

Brennan: Oh, did you remember to wash the nipples? / Booth: Yeah, when I showered this morning. But I don’t think the daycare is going to check.
Finn: Sometimes I find myself lost in the forest. But as long as no one walks off and leaves their campfire burning, I guess I’ll be OK. / Cam: Wow. That was a lot of imagery.
Brennan: Is there an unsend button?
Finn: On the bones of a deer that was sagged by a pickup and dragged for a few miles. / Hodgins: Man, I missed so much growing up in the city.
Booth: Just remember me when you take over the bureau...
Angela: Oh my God. Oh my God. Terrorists are trying to corner the market on tapioca pudding and take down America!
Brennan: You shouldn’t hit people! You should use your words. That’s what all the books say!

What to Watch (Week of 4/9)

My vacation is done, but now I feel like I need a vacation from my vacation. We were so busy that there was no time to relax! Oh well. I'm glad I was at least able to watch the mid-season premiere of Bones on Monday, but wasn't able to watch One Tree Hill until Saturday - I think I just wanted to wait longer so it made it seem like it wasn't over yet. I loved the finale. It had a fantastic ending (though I wish Chad Michael Murray and Hilarie Burton returned). And the "Always and Forever" special made me cry tons (especially at all the Uncle Keith parts).

One of my favorite new shows for this Spring is Don't Trust the B-- in Apt 23. You can watch the first two episodes online via ABC.com and Hulu, but the pilot premieres on TV this Wednesday. It is very funny, and I love James Van Der Beek playing James Van Der Beek. A+

Movie of the Month...Titanic

I was ecstatic when I learned the were re-releasing Titanic in 3D in theaters.  I saw the movie in theaters 15 years ago when it was first released, but could not wait to see it again. There is just something more special about seeing a film in a dark theater on that big screen. It is one of my favorite movies, and I was more than happy to pay the extra bucks to see it in 3D.

If you are like me and own both the VHS version of the movie (two separate tapes!! haha) and the Three-Disc Special Collector's Edition we should definitely be friends.

Winner of 11 Academy Awards, including Best Picture, is not too shabby that's for sure. And what?! Bill Paxton?! I love Bill Paxton. As you may have gathered reading some of my other blog posts. But lets be real. Leonardo DiCaprio looks like a frigging angel in this movie. You know you had a poster of him on your wall too. Kate Winslet is definitely one of my top 3 favorite actresses.

So if you're not familiar with the movie (which would be a darn shame) the synopsis goes like this:

Titanic is a 1997 epic romance (epic is right) and disaster film directed, written, co-produced, and co-edited by James Cameron (dude knows his stuff-basically a one-man show). A fictionalized account of the sinking of the RMS Titanic, it stars Leonardo DiCaprio as Jack Dawson, Kate Winslet as Rose DeWitt Bukater and Billy Zane as Rose's fiancé, Cal Hockley. Jack and Rose are members of different social classes who fall in love aboard the ship during its ill-fated maiden voyage.

Raise your hand if you have - or are going to - see Titanic 3D too! The film re-released on April 6, 2012 to commemorate the centenary of the Titanic setting sail. Thank you Paramount Pictures for making me very happy.

After It Airs (Bones 4/2)

Bones

Favorite Episode Quotes:
Brennan: You aren’t getting anywhere near my cervix, Miss Wick.
Booth: This is a diner. I come here because there is no cappuccino machine. You understand? Some things, they need to be sacred, right? Preserved, right? In this country, there is a line between coffee and foamy crap! And when that line gets blurred, people, they just become animals. / Sweets: You OK? / Booth: No. No, I’m not OK. I’m not dunking my donut into some cappuccino. That’s not why I joined the army. I didn’t join the army for that. / Sweets: We’ll take two regular coffees.
Brennan: It would be irresponsible of me to form a conclusion at this point. / Angela: Come on. Just this once. / Brennan: No! / Cam: You can do it. Just say it’s a stabbing... / Brennan: I can’t. / Angela: We’ll think you’re cool if you do. / Brennan: Well I want to be cool...
Hodgins: This is not a toy. Who am I kidding? It’s the coolest toy ever!
Daisy: Do you think I overstepped my bounds by becoming a dula? / Hodgins: Yes. / Daisy: No, really. / Hodgins: Yes, really. / Daisy: It’s so nice of me! / Hodgins: It’s more creepy than nice.
Brennan: That is extremely unethical! Assuming psychologists have ethics, I don’t know.
Booth: I love you. And if anything happens to this child, I would die.
Booth: I don’t want our baby born in a prison. / Brennan: Why not? Their infirmary is an accredited healthcare facility. Isn’t that what you wanted?
Booth: Stupid road! Stupid, stupid road!
Brennan: I’m about to push this baby out right now! And if you don’t find me some place to do that, I’m going to get out of this car, squat down on the lawn and have this baby right here!
