Sundancing

I haven't been able to do any of my blog posts for the past two weeks due to the craziness of my work schedule. This craziness was due to...Sundance Film Festival 2012. Yep, I went to Park City Utah for a week to attend one of the biggest film festivals - complete with celeb sightings and gifting suites, and of course movies!

The company I work for, CW3PR in West Hollywood, participated in Sundance for the second time with a VIP gifting lounge that took over almost the whole Sky Lodge Hotel on Park City's Main Street.  Our suite featured brands like Patron, tarte cosmetics, Vanity Girl Hollywood, Remix Watches, Paul Mitchell, and a great photo op by celebrity photographer John Ganun. During the day celebrities came into our lounge to visit with the vendors and get fabulous gifts, and at night parties took place in our space and brought many more of the rich and famous.

Though it was a crazy busy weekend, we were able to hit up other parties on Sunday night, and made our way to the HBO party followed by TAO, which was a huge party that took place in a parking garage, though you wouldn't know it because of the massive redecorating that took place.

I saw a ton of celebrities, big and small, but here is a list of a few of them: Ryan Kwanten (yes, he is that beautiful in person), Emily Blunt, James Marsden, Isla Fisher, Justin Long, Liv Tyler, Seth Rogen, Aziz Ansari, Elizabeth Olsen (probably the most sweetest girl alive), Paris Hilton, Andrew Keegan, Catherine Hardwicke, Ty Burrell, Kate Bosworth, Lake Bell, Britt Robertson, and so many more!!

I'm sad that I possibly didn't get my TV Guide for this week, so this may be incomplete :(

Sam: What's the plan here exactly? / Dean: Don't die.
Sam: I can’t believe I’m about to say this, but I hope you’re watching cartoon smut , because reading Dick Roman crap over and over again is just self-punishment. / Dean: It's called anime, and it's an art form.
Dean: Special Agent Smith, this is ... Special Agent Smith, no relation.
Dean: How does paper beat a rock? It’s stupid.
Witness: Some dude dressed like my grandpa’s got him by the neck. Snappy shoes, suit, one of those Justin Timberlake hats. / Sam: You mean a fedora?
Sam: You gonna look at more anime or are you strictly into Dick now?
Sam: The thing that’s been mummifying people took [Dean] in a frigging ball of light and disappeared. / Sheriff Mills: You guys get that a lot? / Sam: Yeah, more than most people.
Dean: Awesome. / Eliot Ness: How does that fill you with awe?
Eliot Ness: We gotta get you into some new clothes. You look like some kind of bindlestiff.
Ness: Let's kill that bastard, because that-- / Dean: Is the Chicago way! / Ness: Who talks like that? / Dean: ... Sean Connery.
Dean: Who died in your life that made you a Hunter? / Eliot Ness: Who died? Nobody died, you morbid son of a bitch. I started doing this because vampires were turning folks in Cleveland.
Dean: I used to [hunt] because that’s what my family did. But they just seem to keep dying. To tell you the truth, I don’t know why I’m doing much of anything anymore.
Dean: Sweet merciful awesome.
Dean: Talk to me. / Eliot Ness: I am.

Stefan: Why are you so chipper? / Damon: No reason.
Damon: These hybrids -- really bringing the neighborhood down.
Stefan: I live here, Klaus. / Klaus: Well, if we’re playing this game, I was here first.
Stefan: Friends don’t strip friends of their free will. / Klaus: Yeah, granted, that was a little extreme.  Sometimes I lose my temper.
Bonnie: You’ve always claimed that your birthday is everybody’s favorite day of the year.
Caroline: I’m stuck in a filler year.
Alaric: Is his humanity on or off? / Damon: I’m thinking there’s another option, kind of like a dimmer switch.
Damon: Carol, and don’t take this the wrong way, but do you realize you’ve been kissing the ass of the immortal hybrid who ruined your son’s life?
Klaus: Oh come on, mate. Give peace a chance!
Matt: You know, you guys are ruining a perfectly good funeral!
Tyler: Klaus can't control me. Not when it comes to you. I won't let him.
Damon: Oh please don’t tell me you’re going to drink the Klaus Kool-Aid.
Damon: What are you doing? No dead hybrids at the Founders’ Party!
Caroline: Are you going to kill me? / Klaus: On your birthday? Do you really think that low of me? / Caroline: Yes.
Klaus: I love birthdays. You have to adjust your perception of time when you become a vampire, Caroline. Accept that you're no longer bound to trivial human conventions. You're free.

Favorite Episode Quotes:
Frank: Oh sure, you’re not a Leviathan. Dick Roman’s not a Leviathan. Gwyneth Paltrow’s not a Leviathan.
Frank: You cool your heels, Buster Brown.
Dean: No, I’m not gonna play this ‘One time with Bobby’ crap, alright. I’m not gonna get all warm and fuzzy with somebody else who barely knew him.
Frank: You know what you need? A little LSD, a littler shiatsu.
Dean: What is she doing? / Frank: Being a naughty, bossy little girl. / Dean: I hate to ask for that in the non-porn version.
Frank: Go out and kill something, or whatever you kids do to blow off steam.
Dean: I’m a fun guy. I’m actually awesome. But right now I’m not in the mood. I’m neck deep in some serious crap, and if this wasn’t an emergency, I would your ass off at the nearest mall.
Chrissy: One thing doesn’t make sense, though. My dad’s a pretty great Hunter and your brother’s the size of a car, so how’d this thing get them both?
Dean: You could too, you know. Go to college. You could be a Hunter/pediatrician.
Chrissy: Why is that waitress getting into that truck? / Dean: I’m not explaining the R-rated crap to you.
Chrissy:  What century is this? No one fist bumps anymore. You’re a dweeb.
Chrissy: Thanks for saying ‘bye,’ ass-hat. I just wanted to tell you that you’re kind of amusing for an old man.

Damon: Kids today...Where are their values?
Tyler: The point is that I'm pissed at Caroline, and Bonnie dumped your ass. The point is to get drunk and shoot stuff. / Jeremy: Profound.
Jeremy to Elena: You, of all people, are going to lecture me about who I can and can't hang out with?
Klaus: I think it’s about time we had a drink, don’t you? / Damon: I’d say we were overdue. / Klaus: Well, you’ve been so busy, what with all your plotting and scheming... / Damon: You know me. Never miss a chance to plan an epic failure.
Elena: That sounds like a Klaus and Stefan problem
Damon: Cute, blonde bombshell, psycho? Shouldn't be that hard to find.
Damon: That’s the thing with younger siblings. You just never know what they’re gonna do!
Damon: Maybe we can bond over our mutual loathing of my brother?
Damon: Such a buzzkill, my baby bro!
Klaus: It seems you people respond best to displays of violence.
Damon: That’s why I hate witches. They’re so fickle! Passive-aggressive.
Elena: Stefan, I need your help. Bonnie said that you would be here. / Stefan: Well, Bonnie sucks at keeping secrets.
Damon: When are you going to get this through your head: Stop saving me!
Stefan: Do you have somewhere you need to be, Damon? / Damon: Ah, deflection. That’s not going to work on me. I invented that!
Damon: You go after Klaus, you’re gonna have to be cutthroat and devious. I’m so much better at that than you.
Stefan: Have a look. / Damon: What? Klaus is allergic to dust?
Elena: My brother just chopped off someone’s head. It’s not right.
Damon: No, you know what? If I’m gonna feel guilty about something, I’m gonna feel guilty about this...
