Warner Bros. Television Out Of The Box Exhibit

Today was definitely $8 well spent - and I wore a Michigan State shirt, so I got the student price. Today I checked out the new Warner Bros. exhibit at the Paley Center for Media as part of their "Television Out Of The Box" program.  This interactive multimedia museum exhibit celebrates almost 60 years of iconic programming with props, costumes, original animation art, patent filings, and more from over sixty series.

I was able to get some great pictures of the exhibits they have there, and below you will find a few of the ones from my favorite shows! Check out the photos below. And don't wait too long, because the exhibit only lasts until 2015, and they will be routinely rotating in new items from the Warner Bros.' collection. That means multiple trips for us TV geeks!

I Can't Wait For...New Year's Eve

I've known about this movie for awhile now, but for some reason, I kept forgetting to add it as a post. Well, you are in luck, because today I remembered! Yay! Hold applause please. Thank you.

Okay, let's start the countdown for New Year's Eve: 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 -

New Year's Eve is an upcoming ensemble rom-com¹ directed by Garry Marshall (the rom-com God). Apparently it was originally intended as the sequel to his 2010 film Valentine's Day, but that will not be the case, and even though Jessica Biel, Ashton Kutcher, and Héctor Elizondo are in both films, they will be playing different characters. Along with Biel, Kutcher, and Elizondo, the film will also star Robert De Niro, Katherine Heigl, Lea Michele,² Abigail Breslin, Hilary Swank, Michelle Pfeiffer, Zac Efron, Sofia Vergara, Halle Berry, Sarah Jessica Parker, Josh Duhamel, Til Schweiger, Ryan Seacrest, Jon Bon Jovi, Ludacris, and Seth Meyers. It will also apparently star Greg Kinnear, Alyssa Milano, John Lithgow, John Stamos, Sienna Miller, Ice Cube, Julie Andrews, Frankie Muniz, and many others, but I did not see any of them in the trailer. But hey! That's way more actors than the last film!

New Year's Eve is scheduled for release by Warner Bros. Pictures and New Line Cinema on December 9, 2011.

This post will just be a quick oh-em-gee mixed with a little woe-is-me moment -

So my twitter feed blew up this afternoon with tweets from my various television peeps I follow - these include online entertainment writers and publicists - with the....dun dun dun duh...Warner Bros. TV Comic-Con 2011 Announcement.  Now me being a huge fan of Warner Bros. TV, especially The CW Network, I was both excited and saddened. This announcement included the subhead: 29 DAYS, 23 HOURS, 15 MINUTES AND COUNTING…WARNER BROS. TELEVISION GROUP ANNOUNCES SCHEDULE FOR COMIC-CON INTERNATIONAL: SAN DIEGO.

In 29 Days, 23 Hours, 15 Minutes and Counting, my two favorite tv shows will be featured at Comic-Con 2011 - SUPERNATURAL and THE VAMPIRE DIARIES.  And to top it all off....

• “Supernatural”: Series stars Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles will topline the panel, held this year for the first time ever in Hall H. Additional cast members and executive producers to be announced.

• “The Vampire Diaries”: Stars Nina Dobrev, Paul Wesley, Ian Somerhalder, Candice Accola and Joseph Morgan join executive producers/writers Kevin Williamson and Julie Plec

My two favorite shows and my favorite casts at the same place, at the same time, talking about my favorite things.  And. I. Won't. Be. There.

Okay, I got my venting out for the day. I mean, who knows right. I still have 29 days to turn this around.
