There have been a few renewals and cancellations here and there, but today was the day the internet EXPLODED with news of what the new television season will bring. I will continue to update this post throughout the next week, as Upfronts will be taking place in New York and we will be introduced to these new shows.
For each network, I list which shows have been renewed or cancelled (my shows will be bolded). Followed by a smiley face and exclamation points or a sad face and profanity. Then I will list all the pilots that were in contention for pick-up and whether or not they have received a green light or not. The shows I plan on watching will be bolded.

How to Live with Your Parents for the Rest of Your Life: Polly (Sarah Chalke), a recently divorced single mom, moves in with her

couple who are full of life but know no bounds.

Malibu Country: After her "good 'ol boy" rock star husband cheats on her and burns
through most of their money, Reba (Reba McEntire) divorces him and moves
her three kids and mom (Lily Tomlin) from Nashville to the only asset
they have left -- a little house in Malibu. There she’ll try to
reignite her own singing career and keep herself and her kids from being
corrupted by the materialistic and rarified Malibu world she now calls
home.

The CW kicked off the night with a screening of the Arrow pilot (which I had already seen at Comic-Con, but hey, it was good so why not see it again. The screening followed a panel with Stephen Amell and the EP's for the show. In case you didn't know already, Stephen is a perfect human being. PERFECT. Can't wait for more episodes - and so glad it's paired with Supernatural on Wednesday nights this fall. Wednesday nights are now going to be my favorite night of the week. Other pilots screened were Emily Owens, M.D.(which, honestly, wasn't as bad as I thought, though definitely won't be my favorite show. It was basically like an extremely watered down Grey's Anatomy), and Beauty and the Beast. B&B was not the best show by any means, but I can tell its definitely a show I will like. I like that kind of stuff. Though I probably shouldn't get too invested because I fear it will be one of the first shows The CW cancels (we'll see after a few more episodes).
